Wise is seeking a Senior Engineer to own end‑to‑end solutions, work with product managers and engineers, and deliver reliable backend services. You will design, build, test, and operate critical systems that move and manage money across borders.

You will contribute to product strategy, improve observability and testing, and mentor colleagues while expanding ownership across the payment journey. Join a global, innovative team shaping fintech infrastructure.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with large‑scale distributed systems.
• Strong backend engineering with relational DBs and event‑driven design.
• Clear product mindset: explain customer problems and value of your solution.
• Ability to own work with autonomy and drive progress amid ambiguity.
• Strong collaboration and communication across teams and mentoring others.
• Curiosity about the business domain and partner usage.

Responsabilidades

• Own solutions from problem to production, working with product managers and engineers.
• Make thoughtful technical decisions, balancing delivery speed, reliability and maintainability.
• Build across system boundaries with other teams to define clear interfaces and impact on the payment journey.
• Improve the systems you operate by strengthening tests and observability, diagnosing issues, and applying lessons learned.
• Help the team succeed by sharing knowledge, participating in reviews, pairing and mentoring.
