Job summary

Pepper Advantage is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join Project PRISM. You will work with a dedicated team to build a platform for web and mobile access, bringing product and domain expertise to deliver enterprise-grade applications.

The role requires strong C# skills (WebAPI, ASP.NET Core), SQL Server/Azure SQL, NoSQL (CosmosDB), and experience with cloud-native architectures. Collaboration with the Scrum team and focus on CI/CD are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise-grade backend services.
• Strong C# and database skills in Azure stack.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Angular front-end integration.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of the new software platform.
• Design of scalable, configurable cloud-native solutions for multiple geographies.
• Ensure code quality, architecture alignment, and adherence to standards.
• Manage and maintain the codebase with audit and control capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and prioritise system developments.
• Design and implement automated testing in an agile environment.
• Work as part of the Scrum team to estimate sprint items.
• Promote CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps.
• Apply best practices like BDD, design patterns, and SOLID.
