Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and build the trigger system that links GitLab events to AI-powered Duo Flows and third‑party events.
• Contribute to the broader event platform and core infrastructure for AI features.
• Architect for high availability and throughput to support scale and reliability.
• Work within GitLab's Rails monolith while staying open to other languages used across the platform.
• Influence product and architecture by proposing iterative solutions across a multi‑service environment.
• Collaborate with teammates, product manager, and designer to define next trigger types.
• Partner with cross‑departmental teams to ensure clean integration with the broader agent ecosystem.
• Participate in Tier 2 and Tier 3 on‑call rotations to troubleshoot production and security issues.
