Job summary

GitLab Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own features end to end within the DAP Repository Flows team. You will build agentic experiences atop the Duo Agent Platform and ship robust backgrounds flows alongside a distributed engineering group.

The role focuses on delivering on onboarding and codebase automation, with autonomy, async collaboration, and rigorous code review as core practices.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Ruby and Rails in production systems.
Experience integrating LLMs into products (integration, not model training).
Experience building agentic systems (autonomous or semi-autonomous agents).
Track record of designing and shipping features independently in a collaborative team.
Strong written communications in a distributed, async-first environment.

Responsibilities

Own design and delivery of features end to end across DAP onboarding and repository/background flows.
Build autonomous and scheduled agents operating on customer codebases on the Duo Agent Platform.
Improve the DAP onboarding experience for quick project configuration and productivity.
Collaborate with engineers across DAP organization on interfaces and patterns.
Review designs and code and contribute to technical quality.
Contribute to a culture of autonomy, ownership, high-context sharing, and async-first collaboration.
