Job summary

Dex partners with a high-growth startup to build the unified AI operating system. You will own end-to-end data ingestion, workflow orchestration, and backend service architecture, collaborating with founders to define data quality and deployment standards.

You will design resilient ingestion pipelines, implement DAG-based workflows, and develop Python APIs and microservices powering AI-driven customer interfaces in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Production experience designing, building, and operating backend systems and APIs in Python.
• Ownership of end-to-end data pipelines and workflow orchestration.
• Experience with messy integrations across legacy ERPs, on-prem databases, and unstructured data.

Responsibilities

• Architect and operate ingestion pipelines across legacy data sources.
• Design and maintain observable workflow orchestration using DAGs.
• Build scalable Python APIs and microservices for AI-driven insights.
• Set engineering standards across stack, including CI/CD and observability.
