Base pay range

My Product Path is partnered with an innovative, well-funded fintech scale-up seeking a Senior Backend Developer to help build the next generation of financial wellbeing tools. You’ll join a fast-moving, product-led team focused on delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and Kubernetes.

This is a unique opportunity to be one of the first senior backend engineers in a company solving real-world problems that impact millions of people.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs.
• Lead architectural discussions and help shape the backend technology stack.
• Collaborate across product and engineering teams to deliver new features.
• Play a key role in a small, high-performance tech team.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with Scala, Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to design and deliver scalable backend systems.
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and production infrastructure.
• Commitment to writing secure, testable, and maintainable code.
• A collaborative mindset and eagerness to contribute to the technical direction.
