Job summary

OrganOx, based in Oxford, seeks a Senior Digital Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to design, build, and secure scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines supporting our digital products and connected device services. You will implement IaC, automate deployments, and ensure cybersecurity, with cross-functional collaboration across Digital and Data teams.

The role is office-based in Oxford with flexibility to engage stakeholders in Engineering, Quality, and other units.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in infrastructure, DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or software delivery (essential).
• Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience (essential).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD tools (essential).
• Strong scripting, automation, and observability skills (essential).
• Good understanding of cybersecurity and compliance for regulated software (essential).
• Knowledge of data-platform infrastructure concepts to support Digital/Data needs (essential).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, secure, and maintain scalable Azure cloud infrastructure for OrganOx digital products and services.
• Own and improve platform capabilities across networking, IAM, storage, compute, monitoring, and cost management.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, automated deployment, testing, and release controls.
• Support software teams with development, integration, validation, deployment, and ongoing platform support.
• Establish monitoring, logging, observability, and incident support to improve reliability and performance.
• Ensure cybersecurity, data protection, access control, encryption, auditability, and compliance.
• Provide input for shared Digital/Data platforms including Databricks, SAP, and data pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to standards, runbooks, and lifecycle documentation.
• Adhere to OrganOx Code of Conduct and company policies.
