Job summary

Oxford Dynamics is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and harden cloud platforms, ensuring scalable, secure and cost-efficient production systems. You will lead multi-region deployments, automate delivery pipelines and drive best-practice security across teams.

You will work in a flexible, hybrid environment with exposure to defence and critical infrastructure systems, delivering reliable services that underpin high-stakes decision making.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on DevOps/SRE experience with AWS.
• Strong Kubernetes administration (EKS/OpenShift) and container tooling.
• Proven ability to design and run CI/CD pipelines and IaC-based deployments.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end cloud ownership across multi-account, multi-region setups.
• Platform reliability, automation and cost-optimised infrastructure.
• Security hardening and best practices adoption across environments.
• SRE & monitoring to meet SLAs and performance targets.
• Mentor developers and promote DevSecOps across teams.
• Policy & audit ownership to ensure compliance.
• Backup & DR planning and practice.
• Ongoing cost and capacity optimisation initiatives.
• Drift detection and incident/rollback management.
