Job summary

AWS ProServe seeks an experienced Cloud Architect (PCA) to lead solution designs for customer outcomes in London, collaborating with Account Executives and Delivery Teams. You will translate complex business needs into scalable, secure AWS solutions and guide customers through their cloud journey as a trusted advisor.

The role emphasizes pre-sales guidance, architecture governance, mentoring, and creating reusable artifacts to accelerate customer success and maximize CBOs.

Qualifications

• Experience as technical specialist in design and architecture.
• Experience in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis).
• Experience in consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions.
• Experience in software development with object oriented language.
• Experience in cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent), systems, networks and operating systems.
• Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.

Responsibilities

• Designing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions, estimates, and proposals to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs).
• Providing technical guidance and best practices during the sales and implementation phases.
• Collaborating with Account Executives and Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
