Job summary

FSP is seeking an AWS Senior Platform Engineer to design, build and automate secure, scalable AWS cloud platforms across client environments. You will embed security and DevSecOps practices, partner with architects and engineers, and deliver end-to-end platform capabilities from discovery through handover.

The role requires hands-on AWS experience, strong IaC skills (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and a solid understanding of security controls, observability and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AWS platform engineering experience across multiple projects or client environments.
• Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps tooling including Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of Secure by Design principles covering IAM, networking, encryption and secrets management.
• Excellent communication to articulate decisions, risks and trade-offs to clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support secure AWS cloud platforms across client environments.
• Embed security and DevSecOps best practices through secure-by-design principles.
• Collaborate with clients, architects and consultants to shape solutions and produce clear documentation.
• Lead platform implementation activities and mentor early-career colleagues.
