Job summary

Scrumconnect is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support large-scale digital services in a complex cloud environment. You will build, maintain, and optimise AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud operations across multiple environments.

Collaborating with software developers, architects, testers, and delivery teams, you will implement secure networking, serverless patterns, and monitoring, while upholding FinOps and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing, deploying, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience managing multiple AWS environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of AWS networking concepts (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Hands-on IAM, MFA and security controls administration.
• Familiarity with Kong Enterprise API gateway and FinOps practices.
• Experience with React-based front-ends, microservices, and Kafka event integrations.
• Agile delivery experience and strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and manage multiple AWS environments (dev/test/stage/prod).
• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
• Manage AWS infra supporting React apps, microservices, Lambda, and Kafka.
• Support ETL and RPA integrations when needed.
• Implement secure networking patterns (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Deploy and manage Kong Enterprise API Gateway.
• Administer IAM/MFA and dev-team permissions.
• Ensure resources are tagged and governed per FinOps standards.
• Monitor performance, availability, and reliability across environments.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Contribute to cloud security and continuous improvement.
• Support accessible digital services aligning with WCAG 2.2 AAA.
