Job summary

Scrumconnect is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support large-scale digital services within a complex cloud environment. You will build, maintain, and optimise AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud operations across multiple environments.

The role collaborates with software developers, architects, testers, and delivery teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions. The ideal candidate has strong experience across AWS services, CI/CD pipelines,

Qualifications

Strong experience designing, deploying and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
Experience managing multiple environments within AWS.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
Experience with React front-end, microservices, Lambda, and Kafka.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Strong understanding of AWS networking (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
Experience administering IAM, MFA, security controls.
Knowledge of Kong Enterprise API management.
Experience with cloud governance and FinOps practices, including resource tagging.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile delivery teams.

Responsibilities

Setup, configuration, and management of multiple AWS environments across dev/test/stage/production.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
Manage AWS infra for React front-end, microservices, Lambda, and Kafka integrations.
Support ETL processes and RPA integrations.
Implement secure networking with Transit Gateway and PrivateLink.
Deploy and manage Kong Enterprise API Gateway.
Administer IAM/MFA and security controls.
Ensure resources are tagged and governed per FinOps.
Monitor performance, availability, reliability.
Collaborate to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
Contribute to cloud security best practices.
Support accessible services aligning with WCAG 2.2 AAA.
