Job summary

Scrumconnect is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support large-scale digital services in a complex cloud environment. You will build, maintain, and optimise AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud operations across multiple environments.

You will collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and delivery teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions. The role requires strong AWS, CI/CD, IaC, and API management experience, with a focus on security and FinOps governance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure and manage multiple AWS environments (dev, test, staging, prod).
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
• Manage AWS infra supporting React frontend, microservices, Lambda, and Kafka.
• Support ETL/RPA integrations in cloud environments.
• Implement secure networking (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Deploy and manage Kong Enterprise API Gateway.
• Manage IAM, MFA, and security controls for developers.
• Ensure resources are tagged according to FinOps governance.
• Monitor performance, availability, and reliability across environments.
• Collaborate to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
• Troubleshoot infra and deployment issues across clouds.
• Contribute to cloud security practices and continuous improvement.
• Support accessible services meeting WCAG 2.2 AAA.
