Job summary

Version 1 seeks a skilled Cloud/Platform Engineer to design and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS, with emphasis on serverless services and multi-tenant Kubernetes. You will develop infrastructure as code, build REST/GraphQL APIs, and support CI/CD pipelines in a regulated environment.

You will collaborate across teams, implement secure-by-design practices and contribute to platform reliability and observability. Remote-friendly with flexible working arrangements in the UK.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito, CloudWatch).
• Experience designing, building, deploying and operating AWS workloads.
• Experience in regulated and secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud-native apps using AWS serverless services.
• Architect and support multi-tenant EKS/Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Build and support modern web apps using React and TypeScript.
• Implement and optimise REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Contribute to event-driven and microservices architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot issues.
