Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a senior Cloud Engineer to design, build and optimise cloud-native applications on AWS, with focus on regulated, multi-tenant environments. You will implement IaC, manage Kubernetes clusters, and drive DevOps practices across teams.

The role involves developing web interfaces with React/TypeScript and integrating REST/GraphQL APIs while ensuring security and reliability in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Collaborate across teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
• Design, build and maintain scalable AWS workloads in regulated environments.
• Develop IaC using Terraform/CloudFormation and CDK.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Helm.
• Develop web UIs with React and TypeScript; expose REST/GraphQL APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS serverless services (e.g. Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito, and CloudWatch).
• Architect and support highly regulated, multi-tenant EKS/Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or similar tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Build and support modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Implement and optimise REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Contribute to event-driven and microservices architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support DevOps processes (CI/CD pipelines and configuration management), and troubleshoot issues across the technology stack.
