IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is seeking a Managing Application Developer to drive cloud-native solutions for Public Sector and Defence projects. You will lead full‑stack design, mentor developers, and manage the software lifecycle from architecture to deployment using modern cloud technologies.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, emphasizing secure, scalable cloud apps, strong problem solving, and continuous improvement in delivery.

Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency: Mastery in full-stack development, including front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby) technologies.
• Cloud Expertise: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Leadership: Proven leadership qualities, with a track record of managing teams and delivering projects.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with a history of resolving complex engineering issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with team members, stakeholders, and upper management.
