Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow in Manchester seeks seasoned engineers to design, develop, and maintain secure, full-stack applications on AWS. You will build scalable cloud solutions, implement IaC with Terraform/AWS CDK/CloudFormation, and drive CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering secure, enterprise-grade solutions within Agile environments.
• Proven hands-on expertise in AWS cloud services, architecture, deployment and application modernization.
• Strong experience in full-stack development using modern technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, Java or Python).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerisation, and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Build and manage secure, scalable cloud solutions using AWS services.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps processes.
• Apply secure coding practices, IAM controls, encryption, and monitoring for security compliance.
• Design and integrate REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot performance, resilience, and cloud cost issues.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders.
