Version 1 is seeking an experienced AWS Architect to lead cloud design and implementation across high-profile European customers. You’ll work with architects, DevOps engineers and consultants to deliver scalable AWS solutions and data-driven architectures.

The role emphasizes designing enterprise-grade patterns, supporting AI/ML workloads, and mentoring others, with flexible/remote working options and a strong focus on security and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• AWS Architect with hands-on design and deployment experience.
• Experience applying the AWS Well-Architected Framework in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Bash.
• Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Enhance cloud capability by creating and implementing cloud application patterns.
• Develop and implement ways to move apps and workloads to the cloud.
• Collaborate with business leads to understand requirements and identify architectural patterns.
• Monitor compliance of cloud resources with industry guardrails and best practices.
• Research and propose AWS data transformation, data connections, and integration solutions.
• Create and maintain architectural templates and build/operational artifacts.
