Version 1 is seeking an experienced AWS Architect to design and support large-scale AWS deployments for high-profile European customers. You will work within the AWS Practice, collaborating with architects, DevOps engineers and consultants to deliver robust cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience as an AWS Architect
• Knowledge of the AWS Well Architected Framework
• Linux (RHEL, Centos) and Bash
• Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies
• AWS certifications (Associate and Professional level)
• Security experience
• Hands-on background in technology
• One software development language (Python, NodeJS, Java, .Net, etc.)
• CDK, Typescript, Terraform
• Interest in mentoring and developing others

Responsibilities

• Enhance cloud capability by creating and implementing cloud application patterns
• Develop and implement ways to move apps and workloads to the cloud
• Collaborate with business leads and product owners to understand requirements and identify patterns
• Monitor compliance of cloud resources with guardrails and best practices
• Propose AWS data transformation, data connections, and integration solutions
• Create and maintain architectural templates and build/operational artifacts
• Work with DevOps and engineering teams to develop solutions
• Support proposals with technical expertise
• Provide thought leadership in cloud architecture
