Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an AWS Cloud Architect to lead large-scale cloud deployments on AWS. You will work with experienced Architects, DevOps engineers and consultants, across multiple teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions for major customers in Europe.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.
• Proven AWS Architect experience.
• Experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework Reviews.
• Proven experience designing, building, deploying and operating production‑grade EKS/Kubernetes clusters.
• Demonstrated understanding of secure‑by‑design cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Improve cloud capability by creating and implementing cloud patterns.
• Design approaches to move applications and workloads to the cloud.
• Collaborate with business leads to understand requirements and identify architectural patterns.
• Monitor compliance of cloud resources against guardrails and best practices.
• Research AWS data transformation and integration solutions.
• Create and maintain architectural templates and artefacts.
• Work with DevOps to develop solutions.
• Contribute to proposals with technical expertise.
• Share guidance across the organisation.
