Job summary

IBA seeks a driven analyst to support analysis of airline financial performance, delivery forecasts and emissions data. You will input into models, build insights, and contribute to client-ready market reports and due diligences.

You will collaborate across teams to enhance IBA Insight platforms, monitor industry developments and produce thought leadership. A 2:1 degree and 18 months+ experience are expected, with strong communication and numerical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 degree in finance, engineering, economics, maths, or another analytical degree.
• 18 months+ of experience post-graduation in a consulting, analytical or grad scheme role.
• Strong verbal and written communicator, team player and relationship builder.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Motivated to learn and self-develop, contribute to a team effort and strive for high performance.
• Understanding of two or more of finance fundamentals, airline economics, sustainability, and/or strategy.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and using AI as a productivity tool.

Responsibilities

• Analyse airline financial statements, operational metrics and jurisdictional factors to input into models.
• Collaborate with team and departments to update IBA Insight Fleet, Airlines and Net Zero platforms.
• Monitor industry news to inform forecasts and write thought leadership pieces.
• Contribute to Market Reports, Due Diligence, Revenue and Cost Modelling, and Valuation studies.
• Support client inquiries related to airline data and provide explanations as needed.
