Job summary

proAV is seeking an experienced Site Manager for its Egham team. The role involves taking ownership of quality standards, resourcing and reporting of any defects or delays to the Project Manager to ensure customer expectations are met, with an emphasis on following schematics, cable schedules, site plans and drawings.

The position supports the on-site installation team from first fix to commissioning, with remote working arrangements as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of current AV systems and their installation.
• Technical knowledge of AV equipment, design concepts and schematic drawings.
• Understanding of client needs, room environments and use.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of the on-site installation team from first fix to commissioning.
• Ensuring the AV system is installed in accordance with the scope of works and is functioning.
• Resource planning including project updates, risk reporting, logistics & consumable requests, and on-site resources.
• Representing the PM in their absence and sign off for completion of small projects or delegated tasks.
• Clear and concise communication with internal and external stakeholders; attend coordination meetings.
• Maintaining H&S files and safe systems of work; conducting H&S briefings.
• Quality assurance to include reviews of installation activities.
