Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in the United Kingdom seeks a Mission Software Engineer to advance autonomy and complex software systems for defense applications. You will tackle networking, robotics, data processing, and systems integration on challenging projects with real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background in CS/Engineering/Physics or related fields.
• 5+ years of professional experience with C++ or Rust.
• Experience building software with significant data processing/analysis.
• Track record leading technical projects delivering production systems.
• Eligible to obtain UKSV Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own feature development and cross-cutting software efforts from concept to deployment.
• Write code to improve products and scale capabilities for customers.
• Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
• Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards through reviews and design leadership.
