Job summary

Tata Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Displays to lead the design, development, and integration of interior display systems for automotive applications at the Bicester customer site. You will collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration and production readiness.

The role requires deep expertise in TFT/OLED displays, DVP/DFMEA, and ISO 26262 compliance, plus mentoring of junior engineers and strong program management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Experience in design, development and testing of automotive interior displays.
• Strong understanding of automotive display systems (TFT, OLED, touchscreens) and integration.
• Proven experience in leading DVP and DFMEA activities and validation.
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 and functional safety requirements.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (CATIA, Siemens NX) and simulation software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and integration of advanced interior display systems for automotive applications.
• Coordinate validation and testing of display systems (functional, environmental, durability).
• Develop and oversee design validation plans (DVP) and DFMEA activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Report progress, risks, and milestones to senior management.
