Job summary

Tata Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Audio Systems to lead the design and integration of in-car audio for next-generation vehicles. Based at a customer site in Bicester, the role blends embedded software and audio DSP expertise with automotive infotainment knowledge.

You will work on Android Automotive, HAL and middleware, implementing DSP algorithms and ensuring low-latency, high-quality sound across car audio chains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Android development.
• Experience with DSP, real-time audio, and automotive infotainment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and integration of advanced audio systems for next-gen vehicles.
• Work on Android Automotive, DSP algorithms, and audio frameworks to deliver premium sound.
• Design software architecture, ensure low-latency audio and high system stability.
• Develop and optimize audio software components for infotainment systems.
• Collaborate with hardware, UX and external suppliers to deliver quality products.
• Drive testing and ASPICE-aligned quality processes.
