Job summary

Tailor Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Automation & Facilities Manager for a Liverpool site in a large, technology-led logistics environment. You will lead engineering, automation and facilities teams to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations, driving continuous improvement and cost control.

The role combines strong technical leadership with commercial acumen, stakeholder management and the ability to shape long-term site strategy in a growing, automated operation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering, automation and facilities teams.
• Experience in large-scale, automated warehouse/logistics environments.
• Strong knowledge of automated material-handling and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-skilled engineering, automation and facilities team.
• Develop proactive maintenance strategies to maximise uptime.
• Ensure safety, compliance and environmental standards across site operations.
• Oversee budgeting, procurement and supplier management for engineering and facilities.
• Drive continuous improvement through KPIs and data analytics.
