Job summary
Morgan Ryder Associates is recruiting an Electrical, Control & Automation Engineer for a state-of-the-art facility in Liverpool. The role focuses on leading automation upgrades, system integration, and continuous improvement across a highly automated production environment.
You will support PLC, HMI, SCADA and control systems, drive improvements in reliability and efficiency, and collaborate with suppliers and engineering partners.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation and control systems in manufacturing.
- Experience with PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of instrumentation, process control and industrial electrical systems.
- Experience supporting automated production lines and robotic systems.
- Structured fault finding and root cause analysis approach.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation upgrades and integrate new technologies across the plant.
- Coordinate system integration projects with engineering, production and maintenance teams.
- Troubleshoot complex plant issues and drive improvements in performance and reliability.
- Develop and support PLC, HMI, SCADA and control systems across the operation.
- Mentor EC&I Technicians and support technical development.
- Collaborate with suppliers, integrators and engineering partners.
