Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Facilities Technician in Liverpool to support site utility systems, ensuring safe, reliable operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role is permanent with a Monday to Friday schedule and reports to the facilities team.

You will work with internal stakeholders to maintain uptime, supervise maintenance in utility areas, and support asset management and improvement projects while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience with utilities processes in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of utility systems, asset reliability and process safety.
  • Familiar with relevant legislation and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe, reliable operation of site utility systems across the site.
  • Work with teams to maintain uptime and performance of utilities.
  • Identify improvement opportunities to increase uptime and reduce losses.
  • Oversee maintenance operations in utility areas and support asset management.
  • Support capital projects and monitor energy efficiency and system health.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and proactive issue identification.

Our client is looking for a Facilities Support Technician who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoys being the key point of support for utilities, safety, and reliability.

Type: Permanent, Monday to Friday

Salary: £36k per annum

What You'll Be Doing

As a Facilities Support Technician, you'll play a central role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of site utility systems across the company's site. You'll work closely with teams across the business to keep vital operations running smoothly.

  • Working with internal stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities that increase uptime and reduce productivity losses
  • Supervising process and maintenance operations in utility areas
  • Ensuring equipment performs to specification and supporting the commissioning of new assets
  • Managing safety and compliance, identifying potential issues proactively
  • Overseeing day‑to‑day utility operations and assisting with engineering project work
  • Developing and maintaining preventative maintenance and asset management strategies
  • Supporting capital projects, life‑extension initiatives, and monitoring energy efficiency and system health
What You'll Bring
