Job summary

NiCE Ltd. is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE to manage production systems, automate platform infrastructure, and improve reliability across a suite of distributed applications.

You will monitor health, tune performance, and partner with development teams to streamline releases in a hybrid work model. Candidates should have 3–6 years in a similar role, hands-on cloud experience (AWS), and strong scripting/automation skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering, automation, and reliability.
• Proficiency with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C#) and scripting (Bash/PowerShell).
• Deep understanding of AWS and cloud services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform).
• CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
• Strong problem-solving and incident management with blameless postmortems.

Responsibilities

• Run the production environment by monitoring availability and system health.
• Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
• Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our software solutions.
• Measure and optimize system performance and push capabilities forward.
• Provide primary operational support and engineering for large distributed applications.
• Analyze metrics to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
• Partner with development teams to improve services through testing and release procedures.
• Participate in design consultations, platform management, and capacity planning.
• Create sustainable systems through automation and uplift.
