Job summary

NICE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive automation across cloud and hybrid environments. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks, leveraging Python, Jinja2, Terraform, Puppet, and PowerShell to enable IaC at scale.

You will work on reusable components, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and raise software quality through testing and code reviews in a fast-paced, global company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Python development experience; structured, testable application code.
• Experience building CLI tools and automation frameworks using Python.
• Hands-on experience with Jinja2 templating for configuration and IaC generation.
• Proficient in Puppet manifests, modules, and Hiera configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Build programmatic infrastructure solutions using Python, Jinja2, Terraform; manage IaC at scale.
• Develop Puppet modules and PowerShell-based automation for Windows environments.
• Create reusable automation components and contribute to CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.
• Document standards, runbooks, and best practices for automation tools.
