Samuel Frank Associates Ltd. is recruiting an Automation Controls Engineer for a Gainsborough facility specializing in automated food processing and packaging machinery. This hands-on, site-based role offers ownership of the controls function and involvement in next-generation machine development.

The candidate will own PLC/HMI software, develop machine sequences, and work with mechanical and electrical teams from concept to commissioning. Minimal travel; strong domain expertise required.

Formación

• Proven controls engineering experience with machine builders or OEMs in manufacturing.
• Strong Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC programming and motion control knowledge.
• Experience with PLC/HMI software and commissioning.
• Ability to work across electrical, mechanical, and controls teams.
• Limited travel for on-site support when required.

Responsabilidades

• Own machinery controls and PLC software standards.
• Write/modify/commission Rockwell PLC/HMI software on automated machinery.
• Develop machine sequences, drives and motion control; troubleshoot.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams from concept to commissioning.
• Support controls capability development and future technologies.
• Provide technical support to field engineers and customers from Gainsborough.
