Job summary

Scottish Autism in Fife is seeking a Senior Autism Practitioner (Team Leader) to oversee service delivery in our Cowdenbeath base. You will lead a team of Autism Practitioners to provide consistent, high-quality support for autistic people and coach staff to perform at their best.

The role requires supervisory experience in social care, coaching ability, and IT literacy. A health and social care qualification (SVQ4 or equivalent) or willingness to gain it, plus a driving license, are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory/management within social care.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting autistic people.
• Experience coaching and mentoring colleagues.
• Willingness to gain SVQ Level 4 in health & social care and LMC qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Autism Practitioners to deliver high-quality support.
• Coach and mentor staff to achieve best performance.
• Collaborate with families, agencies and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop and implement support plans to help individuals daily living.
