Job summary

Scottish Autism is looking for Autism Practitioners to join the South West team, supporting more than 30 autistic people across Biggar, Lanark and Carluke in residential and community settings. You will help with personalised support plans, build relationships and enable daily living goals.

Shift work includes weekends/evenings; full-time and part-time contracts are available. A comprehensive autism training programme is provided; PVG/SSSC steps are noted during recruitment.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care desirable but not essential; willingness to learn and develop in the role.
• We provide extensive autism-specific training to support progression.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and implement personalised support plans for the supported individual.
• Build positive relationships with the supported individual and their circles of support.
• Enable daily living goals and independence in the community and home.
