Job summary

Fourblue is seeking an experienced 33kV HV professional to act as Senior Authorised Person, leading switching and isolation tasks across the North West.

You will prepare switching schedules, review safety documentation, and oversee HV works from commissioning to energisation, working closely with project managers, engineers, clients and site teams to deliver 33kV substations and related electrical infrastructure safely.

Qualifications

• Strong experience across HV electrical networks.
• Experience with HV switching and isolation.
• Substation, ICP, DNO or IDNO experience.
• Understanding of HV safety rules and electrical safety procedures.
• Experience working on projects within the utility, power or energy sector.

I'm currently working with an established utility infrastructure business that's continuing to grow thanks to a strong pipeline of work across the power and energy sector. They're looking for an experienced 33kV SAP to join their team and support a range of projects across the North West.

The Role

• Act as Senior Authorised Person up to 33kV
• Take responsibility for HV switching and isolation procedures
• Prepare and review switching schedules and safety documentation
• Oversee HV works, commissioning and energisation activities
• Ensure works are carried out safely and in line with relevant HV safety rules
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, clients and site teams
• Support the delivery of 33kV substations and associated electrical infrastructure

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience working across HV electrical networks
• Experience with HV switching and isolation
• Substation, ICP, DNO or IDNO experience
• Understanding of HV safety rules and electrical safety procedures

Salary: Up to £75k + van and fuel card + overtime available

Location: North West – Site based / travel across the region
