Job summary

TPF Recruitment is partnering with a distinguished mid-tier Chartered Accountants firm in Southampton to recruit an Audit Senior. You will lead audit engagements, manage a diverse client portfolio and maintain high audit quality.

The role offers hybrid working, a salary of £42,000–£48,000 per year, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and clear progression opportunities through continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is essential.
• Managerial experience at the senior level.
• Proven ability to manage client portfolios and foster lasting client relationships.
• Extensive experience in delivering high-quality audits.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage assignments, ensuring all arrangements with clients, including cost estimations and billing, are thoroughly confirmed.
• Maintain the highest standards of audit quality, actively participating in both internal and external quality assurance processes.
• Provide detailed briefings to staff about client specifics and assignment directives, offering support and guidance as necessary.
• Ensure assignments are completed within budget, promptly addressing significant issues with the assignment partner and client.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, exemplifying excellent client service in all interactions.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to meet diverse client needs, utilizing the firm’s specialist services when appropriate.
• Stay updated on technical advancements and industry developments through continuous professional development.
• Mentor and guide junior staff and students within the team.
