Job description

A well-established accountancy firm based in Romford is recruiting for a Senior Auditor to join their modern practice on a full-time, permanent basis. The firm has a wide client base across Health Professionals, the service sector, construction industry, manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, and hospitality. They are seeking an experienced Auditor to join their audit team to work with their local and international clients.

Senior Auditor Job Overview

1. Work with the audit team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of technical audit and other accountancy services.
2. Assist with or lead on-site audit fieldwork at clients' premises.
3. Liaise with clients' senior management.
4. Supervise the audit team onsite.
5. Responsible for the completion of audit files.
6. Draft audited financial statements.
7. Report directly to the firm's Partner.
8. Manage all audit processes from planning through to completion.
9. Liaise with clients to assist with planning and to complete assignments.

Senior Auditor Job Requirements

• Qualifications: Fully or part-qualified ACA/ACCA.
• Ideally 3 years of experience in an audit-based role.
• Experience in completing audit files.
• Previous accountancy practice experience.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Adaptability and flexibility to meet the firm's needs.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.

Salary & Benefits

• £30,000 - £45,000 depending on skills and experience.
• Based locally to Romford.
• Passport holder – international travel may be required.
