About the Role

We are seeking an Auditor to join our dynamic Field Team. In this role, you’ll work with SMEs and large organisations, performing supplier audits to ensure management systems meet the highest standards. You will conduct audits under the guidance of the Director – Employed Services, collaborating with the Compliance Team to meet UKAS certification standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct supplier audits for various organisations, ensuring management systems comply with statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  • Observe or conduct audits under supervision until full competency is achieved.
  • Evaluate management systems for effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Plan and execute audits efficiently, including conducting opening and closing meetings.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, summarising findings and recommending improvements.
  • Communicate findings effectively with stakeholders and resolve conflicts professionally.
About You

You are highly organised, analytical, and possess excellent communication skills. You thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Industry experience, especially within construction (e.g., painting, drywall, carpentry, brickwork, electrical work).
  • Must hold a NEBOSH certification.
  • Experience in audit, control testing, risk assessment, or analysis.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and travel extensively.
  • Methodical with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Professional certifications such as Lead Auditor (ISO 9001/2015, 14001, 27001, or 45001).
  • Senior management or directorship experience in a commercial setting.
