MERJE is seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor for a leading provider of internal audit, risk and assurance services in the higher education sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop specialisms, and contribute to the company’s growth strategy.

Location: Home based with a Manchester office and occasional travel (fully expensed)

This company is a specialist provider of internal audit services to the UK higher education sector. With over 20 clients ranging from small institutions to large universities, they offer a progressive risk-based approach and have ambitious growth plans for the future.

The Role

The Senior Auditor position offers a competitive salary, 25 days annual leave. This role involves conducting end-to-end audits, developing specialisms, and contributing to the company’s strategy and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Of The Senior Auditor

• Undertake end-to-end audits, from developing terms of reference to finalising reports
• Liaise with senior institutional staff and attend management team meetings
• Draft topical briefing notes and benchmarking outputs
• Assist in developing annual audit programmes
• Contribute to the company’s strategy and new business opportunities
