Job summary

BDO LLP is seeking a high-performing Senior Manager to join the Audit Quality Department (AQD) in the UK. The successful candidate will bring significant external audit experience, lead audits and audit-related projects, and apply strong technical expertise in auditing standards (ISAs).

Qualifications

External audit experience including exposure to complex audits.
Strong knowledge of UK auditing standards (ISAs) and financial reporting requirements.
ACA qualification (or equivalent).
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with Partners and engagement teams.

Responsibilities

Support audit teams to deliver high-quality audits in line with ISAs and firm methodology.
Perform audit quality reviews and provide actionable feedback.
Provide technical advice on complex audit and accounting matters.
Contribute to development and maintenance of audit methodology and policies.
Design and deliver audit quality training and coaching.
Identify themes, risks and opportunities for audit quality improvement.
Represent sector or office and respond to local audit quality queries.
