Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong experience leading external audit assignments in an accountancy practice.
• Excellent knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
• Experience managing client relationships and overseeing multiple audits.
• Proven ability to supervise, mentor and develop junior team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, client‑facing approach.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, commercially aware with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Manage audit assignments from planning through completion for a varied client portfolio.
• Oversee audit fieldwork and ensure compliance with auditing standards.
• Review audit files, working papers and financial statements for accuracy.
• Act as primary client contact for audit and reporting matters.
• Manage budgets, resources and deadlines to deliver efficiently.
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior audit staff.
• Coordinate with Partners and senior staff on findings and technical issues.
• Identify and resolve complex audit issues and escalate appropriately.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
