Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong audit and accounts experience.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
• Good knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise effectively.
• Proactive, commercially aware approach to client service.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and act as a key contact.
• Plan and oversee audit assignments, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Review statutory accounts and financial statements.
• Prepare and review accounts for a range of businesses (Ltd, partnerships, sole traders).
• Provide clients with practical accounting and business advice.
• Review corporation tax computations and returns.
• Supervise, support and develop junior staff.
• Build strong, long-term client relationships and identify value-add opportunities.
