Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Excellent knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
• Proactive and commercially aware with strong analytical abilities.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Managing audit assignments from planning through to completion for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Overseeing audit fieldwork and ensuring compliance with standards.
• Reviewing audit files, working papers and financial statements for accuracy.
• Acting as a point of contact for clients on audit and financial reporting matters.
• Managing budgets, resources and deadlines to ensure timely delivery.
• Supervising, mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Liaising with Partners and senior colleagues on findings and technical matters.
• Identifying and resolving complex audit issues.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships and seeking opportunities for additional services.
