• Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week with flexi hours & hybrid working
• Holiday: 25 days + birthday day off + public holidays; increases after 5 years

About The Role

We are TC Group, a top 20 UK accountancy firm with over 30 years of experience. We seek an ambitious qualified accountant with audit experience for our Letchworth office. The role involves managing audit and assurance services, supporting the Head of Audit, and developing new business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the Head of Audit in department management, including budgets and growth strategies
2. Deliver high-quality audits to SME clients with team support
3. Build and maintain client relationships, managing expectations
4. Manage and develop the audit team, providing motivation and leadership
5. Conduct file reviews, ensuring quality standards
6. Identify and deliver added value services to clients
7. Support business growth through new client acquisition and lead conversion

Candidate Requirements

• UK SME audit experience at senior manager level
• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Strong technical knowledge (UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, ISA)
• RI qualified or within 12 months of qualification
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of CCH, Digita Cotax, Inflo, SAP, Xero, Sage, Quickbooks beneficial
• Pro-active, motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
• Own car and full driving license required
