Job Description:

Our client is a growing tier 2 audit firm and this role is suitable for an experienced audit manager (min 2 years) or senior manager seeking career progression and a broader client portfolio including PIEs, listed entities, and international groups.

As a senior manager, you will lead audit teams on various assignments. The focus is on corporate entities (not FS), with a mix of international and domestic companies, groups, and listed businesses.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform audits from planning through completion within budget, taking ownership of each assignment.
  • Ensure high-quality work that exceeds client expectations by meeting their needs.
  • Support project management of audits, improving efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor audit teams.
  • Lead discussions with technical teams, clients, and specialists, providing solutions for evaluation and review.
  • Meet deadlines and notify partners promptly of issues.
  • Identify opportunities to involve other firm experts to meet client needs.
  • Manage work in progress and billing.
  • Present reports to senior management and audit committees/boards.
  • Engage in business development to grow and maintain your network.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Technical Skills, Experience & Knowledge:

  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
  • Ability to provide practical business advice and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Thorough understanding of business cycle controls and audit risks.
  • Experience with complex groups and liaising with component auditors.

Required Qualifications:

  • ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS, ICAI, AICPA qualification is essential.
