Senior Audit Manager

Location: Yorkshire / Remote

Salary: £58,000 - £65,000

Overview

We are working with an incredibly fast‑growing, Top 100 firm, who are actively seeking individuals at Senoir Manager level to join their remote team. Their auditing team has tripled in size over the last 3 years and show zero signs of stopping.

This role will predominantly involve working remotely from home in Leeds / Yorkshire area, attending client visits in the surrounding areas with the occasional visit to their Head offices based in Birmingham once every 4-6 weeks.

Your role as a Senior Audit Manager

• You will be responsible for overseeing the remote teams across the North.
• Leading audits and managing relationships with corporate audit clients both in the UK and in Europe.
• Organising and attending client visits in the North and the surrounding areas and remotely managing expectations and relationships for European clients.
• You will assist in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment for RI or partner review.
• Consider and manage risk in all interactions with clients.
• Produce work for Partner review, clearly highlighting issues and providing potential solutions to issues identified.
• Demonstrate business development skills and identify additional sales opportunities.
• Demonstrate an application and solution‑based approach to problem solving, referred to for research on delivery of solutions in that field on client assignments.
• Identify areas requiring improvement in the client's business processes and possible recommendations and prepare and deliver Audit Findings Reports to be provided to the client.
• Oversee and support junior members of the team, including delegation of workloads and priorities.

What you'll need to succeed

• You will be ACA/ACCA/CA qualified with a strong foundation of audit experience.
• Experience of managing your own portfolio, preferably with some knowledge of group audits or cross border consolidations.
• Display energy and enthusiasm and a focus on achieving results.
• Have the ability to self‑motivate yourself and manage own workload.
• A keenness to further your own personal development and meet your career ambitions.
