Job summary

PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED is recruiting for a Senior Audit Manager role in Gatwick. You will lead a team of auditors, acting as a major point of contact with Directors and Partners to oversee delivery across a portfolio of corporate audit clients.

You'll liaise with a range of clients from fast-growing SMEs to larger PE-backed groups, contribute to business development, build relationships, and help grow the department with opportunities to upsell while maintaining high audit quality and

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent
• 3+ years UK accountancy practice experience
• Currently at Senior Manager level with progression routes to Director
• Experience in business development and cross-selling
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and GAAS
• Ability to lead, develop and manage staff

Your role as a Senior Audit Manager:

• Acting as a major point of contact for the firm, you will work closely with the Directors and Partner to oversee and develop a team of driven and dedicated auditors.
• Liaising directly with the clients across a wide range of corporate audit clients including fast-growing OMBs to large PE backed companies.
• Heavily involved in the development of business proposals and building new relationships.
• Work as a team to support the department as it continues to grow and identify any opportunities for upselling.

What you'll need to succeed:

• You must be ACA/ACCA Qualified or equivalent with post qualification experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of working within a UK accountancy practice.
• Applicants must already be working in a Senior Manager level position, but there are very clear progression routes to Director within this team.
• Experience of business development including identifying and converting opportunities to sell work.
• Good working knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and International GAAS.
• Ability to manage and develop staff.
