Job summary

PKF Francis Clark in Poole is seeking a qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA audit professional to lead varied statutory audits, develop strong client relationships and mentor junior colleagues, all while enjoying a genuine work‑life balance and clear progression opportunities.

You’ll be part of the Professional Practices team, handling a portfolio of law-firm clients, gaining sector knowledge, and receiving support across the firm as you train on sector matters.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA required.
• Strong statutory audit experience in professional practice.
• Experience leading audits and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver statutory audits for a portfolio of law firm clients.
• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Manage audit teams on-site and remotely, ensuring quality and deadlines.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Identify technical and commercial issues and provide practical solutions.
• Support managers and partners with complex assignments and advisory projects.
• Review work by junior team members and provide feedback.
• Coach and develop trainees and qualified colleagues.
• Prepare audit files and reports for review by managers and partners.
