Job summary

Clark Wood Limited is seeking an Audit Senior to join the Poole team. The role involves leading statutory audits from planning through completion, managing engagements, and maintaining strong client relationships while mentoring junior staff.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified (or studying) with solid UK audit experience and a good grasp of UK accounting standards and audit methodologies. This is a role offering progression within a collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified auditor with ACA/ACCA or actively studying toward qualification.
• Experience leading statutory audits in an accountancy practice.
• Strong client relationship management and ability to mentor juniors.
• Solid knowledge of UK accounting standards and audit methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Leading statutory audit assignments from planning through to completion.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified auditor who enjoys leading assignments, building strong client relationships, and supporting the development of junior team members.

You’ll work with a specialist client portfolio, gaining valuable sector expertise while managing a broad range of audit responsibilities from planning through to completion. The role offers a strong balance of autonomy, career progression, and ongoing professional development within a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading statutory audit assignments from planning through to completion

What We’re Looking For
