Job summary

Shakespeare Martineau’s Residential Development team is seeking a Solicitor, Associate or Senior Associate with 3-8 PQE to join a growing practice. You will work on strategic land, promotion and option agreements, and large-scale residential projects for leading housebuilders.

Hybrid working with 2 days in the office, direct access to partners, and strong client exposure offer clear career progression within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years' PQE in Real Estate.
• Strong residential development experience.
• Experience advising housebuilders on acquisitions and development transactions.
• Strategic land experience including promotion and option agreements.
• Ability to work with increasing autonomy.
• Commercial and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Advise on strategic land matters, including promotion and option agreements.
• Manage site acquisitions and disposals.
• Support large-scale residential development projects.
• Build strong client relationships and provide commercial advice.
• Contribute to business development activity within the team.
