Qualifications

• At least 6 years' PQE with a strong personal injury litigation background.
• Specialist, hands-on experience handling fatal RTA claims.
• Excellent client management and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to generate new business and contribute to successful business development initiatives.
• Strong technical expertise and the ability to manage complex and sensitive claims.
• Experience managing or supervising a small team would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job description

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Associate to join the Personal Injury team of a highly regarded, Tier 1 Legal 500 law firm in Bath.

This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist personal injury lawyer to join a well-established and ambitious practice, handling a varied and interesting caseload of complex, high-value claims. The role would suit a driven individual with demonstrable expertise in fatal road traffic accident (RTA) claims, strong client relationship skills and a genuine interest in contributing to the continued growth of the team.

The Role

You will manage a diverse caseload of complex personal injury matters, including:

• Fatal road traffic accident claims.
• Claims involving injuries caused by animals.
• Cycling-related injury claims.
• Claims brought on behalf of vulnerable individuals.

Alongside managing your own caseload, you will play an important role in developing client relationships, supporting the team's wider objectives and identifying opportunities to grow the practice through effective business development.

About You

To be considered, you will have:

• At least 6 years' PQE, with a strong background in personal injury litigation.
• Specialist, hands-on experience handling fatal RTA claims.
• Excellent client management and relationship-building skills.
• A proven ability to generate new business and contribute to successful business development initiatives.
• Strong technical expertise and the ability to manage complex and sensitive claims with confidence.

Experience managing or supervising a small team would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
